Dubai attracts thousands of tourists every year. Many visit it every year and will never find just the same Dubai they saw the year before. It is a really fast-growing metropolis. New skyscrapers, interesting attractions and even islands are constantly being built in it. Yes, it is the islands that are not a natural part of nature that have attracted many tourists. Probably the most famous is the island in the shape of a huge palm tree, on which it also stands famous hotel Atlantis The Palm.

But did you know that Dubai also has its own world? Another project that has attracted the whole world is Archipelago World (Juzur al-Alam). This archipelago grew about 4 kilometers from Dubai. They exported thousands of tons of sand from the sea and created artificial islands in the shape of the world. The construction cost more than $ 14 billion and is located near the more famous palm tree. Some of the islands were bought almost immediately by famous people.

Magnificent construction of islands
The construction was carried out by the developer Nakheel. The archipelago consists of 300 islands and Dubai has brought up to 230 km of new coastline, which is a very rare commodity in Dubai. To give you an idea, the new coast represents up to 3 times the length of the natural coast. The vast majority of the islands are already sold, but the island of Greenland was the first to be built and bought by Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Although they sold very quickly, they plunged into debt as a result of the 2009 financial crisis. However, according to some experts, they are in danger of sinking into the sea. However, representatives of the company claim that the project is not dead, that it is not in danger of anything bad. The archipelago is clearly visible only from an airplane or helicopter, or from the upper floor of the world's tallest building - the Burj Khalifa tower.

Heart of Europe
The first plans to build an artificial world appeared in 2003 and shocked the whole world. The project became a reality in 2008. In 2015, the plans for a new project "The Heart of Europe" translated into the Heart of Europe were presented to the world. This mega-project should be built on several islands and, according to the investor, will provide beauties from different parts of Europe. Of course we can expect top hotels and luxury services for tourists.

Michael Schumacher's Island
The fact that celebrities are also interested in the islands is also confirmed by one famous island. That piece of land this time is the island of Michael Schumacher. This well-known formula racer received an exclusive farewell gift from the world of Formula 1, given to him by his admirer, Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid Maktoum, a member of the ruling dynasty. The value of the gift in 2006 when the island received it was somewhere at the level of 4.5 million euros. But today's price would be significantly higher. Today, there is a beautiful luxury residence on the island, this island was one of the first built-up islands ever.

Unless the negative predictions of some experts are met and the islands do not sink, it is likely that we can expect further construction on the islands. These will definitely be an excellent attraction for tourists from all over the world. After all, who will be able to take a boat from Greenland to Europe in a few minutes.
